Fed: Australian army officer resumes defence attache position
SYDNEY, Jan 13 AAP - Australia will swallow its outrage over India's nuclear tests
next week when it fills the position of defence attache at its New Delhi mission after
a gap of over two years.
Colonel Paul Power, the army officer who was withdrawn from the position in protest
over the May 1998 nuclear tests, is to resume duties, The Sydney Morning Herald reported
today.
His Indian counterpart is expected to be posted to Canberra soon, it said.
