Vic: Chileans disappointed at Pinochet result

MELBOURNE, Jan 12 AAP - A Chilean migrant group who lobbied for former dictator Augusto
Pinochet to face torture charges was disappointed he could go free, a spokeswoman said
today.

But Andrea Aguilera, a member of the Melbourne-based Chilean Popular and Indigenous
Network, said her group also wanted to focus on the future rather than on the outcome
of the Pinochet case.

"Of course we are disappointed. We were sure he would be extradited," she said.
